It varies, and mostly depends on the materials.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I have a consultation first. This may include coming out to the site to measure and get more details for what will be needed to complete the job. After this, I provide and estimate for cost and time. When agreed upon, I begin the job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been trained in Mandeville, Jamaica where I ran a welding company. I have also studied at Harbor College of Long Beach. I have over 10 years of welding experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started by investing in the proper tools needed to accomplish various types of metal work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with various types of customers. Some needed repair work done to existing fences and rails. I worked with customers who are home owners and needed to update the look of their outdoor spaces. I have worked with contractors whom hired me to create stainless steel railing, cable railing, glass railing, glass/metal doors, and gates.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I custom designed and welded an entry glass door. It took approximately 14 working days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is important to have good communication with your provider. This is needed throughout the whole process. It is nice to have inspiration or ideas for what you need and share those during the consultation process.
